- April 1994: Foundation of LASERVORM Volumen- und Oberflächenbearbeitung, Kimme, Tubandt, Exner GbR
- July 1994: Relocation to the Technologiepark Mittweida, inception of a technology-development phase for laser surfacing using powder-type filler material
- December 1994: First company-owned laser system, setting-up of a six-axis NC system for development and production
- Early-1995: Setting-up of a metallography line for development-supporting quality control
- Mid-1995: First laser surfacing operations using powder-type filler material on contract-production basis
- Late-1995: Delivery of the first special laser machine, developed and built at LASERVORM
- Early-1997: Delivery and commissioning of the first machine supplied abroad, in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
- Mid-1998: Commissioning of the second laser surfacing system for tool and mould-engineering components
- Early-1999: Relocation to new, more spacious premises in the Mittweida Technologiepark II, significantly improving conditions for provision of services and mechanical engineering
- April 1999: Unveiling of the LVM 700D prototype laser system at the Hanover Industrial Fair
- Autumn 1999: Start of large-series initial production (laser welding of sidebag components)
- Early 2000: Delivery of a special machine with integrated image processing for rotary and shift position detection, automatic welding-track correction and remote maintenance facility
- Early 2000: Change of legal form to LASERVORM GmbH
- October 2000: Start of further automotive supplier component production (laser welding of stepping-motor stators)
- October 2001: Further expansion of company premises
- December 2001: Certification of the company’s QM system in conformity with DIN EN ISO 9001-2000
- Early 2002: Trading agency in Spain
- Early 2003: Delivery of the first laser system to Spain
- June 2004: Cutting of the first sod at the new "Südstraße 8" site in Altmittweida, for the company’s own office and production building
- October 2004: Move into the completed office and production building
- March 2005: Delivery to Denmark of the second laser system for the pharmaceuticals industry
- July 2005: Introduction of the Deleco service management system
- November 2005: County of Mittweida prize for innovation for the development and marketing of laser-cutting systems for opening of incubated eggs
