LASERVORM welcomes pupils to the Open Company Week

Last week, as part of the Open Business Week, we welcomed more than 15 pupils at our premises. Starting from grade 7 up to grade 11, managing director Thomas Kimme took the young people into the exciting world of lasers. The focus was of course on the various apprenticeships as well as the university of cooperative education courses for which LASERVORM acts as a practical partner.

After a short theoretical explanation of laser machines in general, they went directly into the factory halls. The students were given the opportunity to examine the mode of operation and speed of our laser machines by using concrete practical examples. Questions about specific components or individual processes were very welcome and were answered in detail.

We are pleased about the lively interest shown by the young people and hope to be able to welcome one or two of them back to our company as trainees or apprentices.
