Last week, as part of the “Week of Open Companies” organized by the district of Mittelsachsen, we opened our doors on three days and gave students from grades 7 to 10 insights into our everyday working life.
More than 20 young people took the opportunity to visit us – accompanied by several interested parents. Together, we showed what is possible with lasers in material processing and which tasks future apprentices or dual students can take on at LASERVORM.
They gained insights into the following career paths with us:
- Mechatronics technician
- Industrial mechanic for laser systems
- Technical product designer
- Electronics technician for automation technology
- Dual study program in computer science
- Dual study program in industrial production
It is especially important to us to give young people an honest and practical insight into everyday working life. It is not just about whether someone starts their apprenticeship with us later on. Above all, it is about getting to know different occupational fields and finding out what really matches their own interests.
Of course, we would be delighted to see some of you again at LASERVORM later on as interns, apprentices or dual students.
