LV Midi

highly sophisticated 3D processing processes in welding, hardening and cladding and cutting

The LV Midi basic machine is a versatile CNC machine, which can process components from micro size to medium dimensions and is specially designed to handle even complex geometries within this wide size range. This basic machine model is characterized by minimal space requirements while offering generous processing possibilities.

This laser system is available in configurations with 3, 4, or 5 axes. Its central axis system offers two main variants: a cantilevered 3-axis linear system with a flexible processing optic, which performs most of the necessary processing and positioning movements, and a fixed processing optic on the Z-axis, combined with a cross table for the X-Y axes. In addition, the machine offers a wide range of equipment options, including a rotary swivel unit for the 5-axis version to realise demanding 3D machining operations. The machine can be optionally equipped with a rotary axis for machining rotationally symmetrical parts or assemblies.

For optimal integration into existing manufacturing processes, the LV Midi can also be supplemented with customized solutions for material feeding, part positioning, and processing fixtures. For example, variants with rotary indexing tables, interchangeable clamping divices for workpiece carriers and fixtures, tailstock with pressure control, as well as pick-and-place stations are available.

The LV Midi is characterized by a robust stable machine frame which, depending on the chosen axis configuration, is built on an LV Base with special concrete technology. This ensures maximum precision even at high dynamics.

The customer-specifically configured base machine is the perfect and most efficient solution for your task. Users of the LV Midi often operate in the following sectors: Vehicle construction, drive technology, mechanical engineering, medical technology, precision engineering, sensor technology and aerospace technology.
